We are currently seeking Welded Engineers for our ERW Production in our Operations group. The Welded Specialist is responsible for the process control system development – the Welding process with focus on the full production cycle from development, optimization, qualification, KPIs, equipment upgrade and people training.

Responsibilities:
Ensures the welding process continuous flow by timely arranging tooling replacement through ongoing equipment monitoring and execution of operational maintenance programs.
Implements technological innovations in processes resulting from investment projects, incorporating new technologies for equipment and tools.
Collaborates with new products development by making technical queries and informing on standards to be achieved regarding production, quality, steel consumption and efficiency.
Controls procedure compliance alerting deviations from the policy, procedures and specifications. Participates in the design and implementation of procedures and work instructions.
To comply with HSE procedures, report any incident or observation, perform inspections and participate in the investigation process. Implement the preventive/corrective actions. Keep updated the risk analysis and the environmental aspect assessment.
Guarantees compliance and respect for the consumption targets/goals, carrying out appropriate actions on employees' behaviour that contribute to the improvement and/or productive/efficient use of the plant resources, as well as the decrease of the energy consumptions and waste.
Complies with our policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.

Education/Experience:
Mechanical Eng./Mechatronic, Metallurgical Eng., Materials Eng., Welding Eng., Chemical Eng. Or Industrial Eng.
Industrial experience in welding processes and welding plants/mills
Knowledge about welded pipes (ERW and/or LSAW/SSAW)
Mainly Structural Pipes
Mainly API Pipes
Mainly Automotive Pipes
An asset with Welding Techniques or NDT Levels
Ability to perform failure analysis and provide solution-based ideas
Ability to work flexible hours as per the requirement of the mill.
Skills:
Conflict Management
Good knowledge of software Excel and Office skills
Safety and Quality minded, detail oriented, with strong follow-up and analytical skills, Boots on the ground personality, interpersonal skills to work with all levels of the company
