Maintenance Planner

LOCATION: Sault Ste Marie - Ontario - Canada

DEPARTMENT: MAINTENANCE

Tenaris is looking for Maintenance Planners who will carry out the maintenance planning and management control activities. This role will prepare standard and ad-hoc reports in order to support the decision-making process of different areas. They will plan scheduled repairs (regular and annual) in accordance with the production and maintenance plans.

Responsibilities:

Plans scheduled repairs (regular and annual) in accordance with the production plans and maintenance strategies.

Prepares standard and ad-hoc reports in order to support the decision making process of different areas.

Analyzes and controls technical specifications and requirements for maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance with user needs.

Interacts and Coordinates with external services to fulfill internal user requirements/needs

Follows up scheduled maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with user needs.

Manages and updates the maintenance information system, keeping record of the information related to his/her area.

Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.

Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.

Education/Experience:

3-5 relevant industry experience

Project Management or Industrial Planning equivalent degree or background

Microsoft Excel knowledge and SAP system experience considered a strong asset

Schedule & Working Conditions

8-hr work day, Monday to Friday

Work is performed in a steel manufacturing mill and office setting
