This week is an exciting week at RocketPower.
We are continuing to strengthen and build out our leadership team. An area we are always looking to add additional capability to for the benefit of our clients and ourselves is in the Talent Operations arena. With that in mind, we are excited to announce that Amber Piearcy has joined us as our Head of Talent Operations. Amber joins us from Radius Intelligence which was backed by Founders Fund, Salesforce Ventures and Jared Leto among others, where she was the Vice President of People and was part of a successful exit. She has an amazing background that spans impressive leadership across both the People and Talent functions including Connery Consulting and other leading firms. She has a diverse set of responsibilities here at RP, but some of the first things she will be working on will be driving further productizing of our various recruiting offerings (yes...Recruiting as Product...blog coming on that one), managing internal hiring processes and improving our customer success efforts. She will also manage our R4R team, and help us build out our internal HR capability including benefits, onboarding, career paths, etc.
Over the past few years, we have seen there is a clear demand in the market for contingent- style recruiting. However, RocketPower as an entity has never been a contingent firm and has consistently referred companies to other firms to provide that type of recruiting. The more transactional model associated with contingent didn’t seem to be a solid fit with our brand which is focused on very high touch, consultative customer work across Executive Search, Core Team Recruiting and Outsourcing. However, we realized that we have the right person from our leadership team to build a contingent search service around in Kurtis Stein, our Director of Recruiting for R4R. With that in mind we have created a separate company, ReqBridge, that will focus on the contingent search business - particularly focused on tough to fill engineering and talent acquisition roles. Kurtis will be leading ReqBridge as Partner, with myself and the executive team here at RocketPower serving as the board. We’re excited to see what Kurtis and ReqBridge can build as a new company - with the support of our established team here at RocketPower.
